【Issuance of written confirmation of payment of National Health Insurance, Latter-stage Elderly Healthcare System, Nursing Care Insurance Premiums (for year-end adjustment)】

All the insurance premiums paid during 2024 are eligible for a deduction of social insurance premiums.
If you need a written confirmation of payment for year-end adjustment at your place of work, please apply at the following office by the end of the year.
At the end of January, 2025, you will receive a notice of the amount paid for your final tax return.

※ Inquiries about the amount of money cannot be made over the telephone.

●What the applicant needs
An insurance card or a photo ID issued by a government office. If someone other than the applicant or a family member of the same household applies, a letter of proxy is required.
※A ‘Certificate of Deduction’ for National Pension Insurance premiums will be sent by the Japan Pension Service in early November.

【There have been fires. Please separate “hazardous waste”.】

Fires in garbage disposal facilities and collection vehicles are a nationwide problem, with several occurring every year in Kure City.
Please dispose of small rechargeable batteries (mobile batteries) and button cell batteries, lighters, portable stoves and spray cans containing flammable gas as ‘Hazardous Waste’. Do not dispose of them with other waste.

【Changes from October 27th Airport Bus “Kure Hiroshima Airport Line” Service Schedule】

In line with the revised aircraft schedule, we will be operating on the following schedule starting October 27th (Sunday).
※The service schedule from Hiroshima Airport to Kure City is based on the time when you request to get off at Shinhiro Station.

●Kure City → Hiroshima Airport

●Hiroshima Airport → Kure City
※The bus will stop at Shinhiro Station only if you request to get off at this stop when departing from Hiroshima Airport.

Even if you leave a company, you are still required to be covered by health insurance in case of illness or injury. If you are no longer eligible for health insurance, please follow one of the following procedures:
“The Kure Life Guidebook for Foreigners” has been published in English, Chinese, Portuguese, and Vietnamese. It contains a lot of useful information for foreigners about life and administrative procedures.
It is distributed free of charge at the International Exchange Center on the 1st floor of the Kure City Hall, Tobu Chiku Foreign Resident Comprehensive Consultation Counter in Hiro Shimin Center, and every local Civic Center.
