【Kure Port Festival】

The Kure Port Festival, a major spring event in Kure, will be held.
There is a stage, a bazaar with delicious food, and a parade.

April 29 (Tuesday/national holiday)　10:00am～5:00pm
●Venue
Area around Kuramoto-dori and Renga-dori
※Traffic restrictions will be in place in the Kuramoto-dori area on the day of the event. You cannot park in the City Hall parking lot. Please use public transportation (buses, trains, etc.)

●Contents
Stage（10:00am～）Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Band Kure’s performance, Jazz Dance, etc.
Bazaar（10:00am～）Gourmet Corner, Bazaar Corner
Parade（2:00pm～）A parade in which about 2,000 residents participate, including powerful and energetic dances.

【You Can Apply for an Electronic Certificate for Your My Number Card at a Post Office】

The validity period of the electronic certificate written on your My Number Card is from the date of new issue until your fifth birthday.
You can apply for renewal from the day after three months before the expiration date.
If you receive a renewal notice, forget your password/your account is locked, you can apply for the necessary procedures at the post offices listed below, but only if you are 15 years of age or older and registered as a resident of Kure City.

【A multilingual life guidebook has been published】
Even if you leave a company, you are still required to be covered by health insurance in case of illness or injury. If you are no longer eligible for health insurance, please follow one of the following procedures:
“The Kure Life Guidebook for Foreigners” has been published in English, Chinese, Portuguese, and Vietnamese. It contains a lot of useful information for foreigners about life and administrative procedures.
It is distributed free of charge at the International Exchange Center on the 1st floor of the Kure City Hall, Tobu Chiku Foreign Resident Comprehensive Consultation Counter in Hiro Shimin Center, and every local Civic Center.
