【Simultaneous Disaster Drill and Siren】

On June 4th Saturday, from 10:00am onwards a disaster drill will be carried out within the city. We will simultaneously send out a siren from the Disaster Prevention Administration Wireless Network to signal the start of the disaster drill. Please confirm what type of siren will be blaring when the city announces information regarding evacuation.
Using the siren as a signal, take part in the disaster drill by evacuating to an evacuation shelter. You will also be able to look at the evacuation shelter’s emergency stockpile, what the toilet looks like, etc. on　the same day after the drill.

【A multilingual life guidebook has been published】

“The Kure Life Guidebook for Foreigners” has been published in English, Chinese, Portuguese, and Vietnamese. It contains a lot of useful information for foreigners about life and administrative procedures.
It is distributed free of charge at the International Exchange Center on the 1st floor of the Kure City Hall, Tobu Chiku Foreign Resident Comprehensive Consultation Counter in Hiro Shimin Center, and every local Civic Center.
