●Application period: October 30th (Mon) – November 13th (Mon)

《Joining an After-School Children’s Association from April》
If guardians, etc. are not at home during the day due to work or other reasons, the Children’s Association will take care of the children from after school until the evening, providing a place for them to live and play.
●Target group of children: Children enrolled in elementary schools within the city.
●Requirements for membership: Guardians are absent from their children’s homes for 15 days or more per month due to work or other reasons, and this situation continues for 3 months or more.
●Application: [New members] Please apply using the “Childcare Online Application” from November 1st (Wednesday) to November 30th (Thursday) (guardian’s certificate of employment, etc. is required). 【A multilingual life guidebook has been published】

“The Kure Life Guidebook for Foreigners” has been published in English, Chinese, Portuguese, and Vietnamese. It contains a lot of useful information for foreigners about life and administrative procedures.
It is distributed free of charge at the International Exchange Center on the 1st floor of the Kure City Hall, Tobu Chiku Foreign Resident Comprehensive Consultation Counter in Hiro Shimin Center, and every local Civic Center.
