【Changes Regarding the Responses to Covid-19】

From May 8th (Monday), Covid-19 will be treated the same way as the general infectious disease such as seasonal influenza.

○ Points to review

・We will shift to provide support at a wide range of medical institutions.

・You will be responsible for medical expenses, etc.

・Support supplies for patients recovering at home, health monitoring, recovery at accommodation facility, and patient transport will end.

○ About refraining from going out and dealing with people who have had close contacts of COVID-19

・After May 8th, Covid-19 patients are not required by law to refrain from going out. However, it is recommended not going out for 5 days after the onset of symptoms (the date of onset is defined as day 0) because there is a high risk of infecting others.

・After May 8th, the identification of close contacts of COVID-19 will end, so refraining from going out will not be required.
