【Regarding How to Dispose of Garbage Due to the Shortage of Designated Burnable Garbage Bags (Pink Bags)】

We are currently running out of designated burnable garbage bags at stores in the city, and we apologize for the inconvenience.
Due to the impact of Covid-19, the production capacity of the manufacturing factory has decreased, and as a result, the delivery to the stores that handle it has been significantly delayed.

●Temporary measures
When disposing of burnable garbage, if the designated bags cannot be purchased at a city store, commercially available transparent or translucent bags (bags within 45 liters) can also be used.
Black garbage bags cannot be used.
※When disposing of non-burnable garbage and oversized garbage, please use the designated bags and stickers as usual.

●Period of action
From October 3, 2022 (Monday) to November 30, 2022 (Wednesday)

“The Kure Life Guidebook for Foreigners” has been published in English, Chinese, Portuguese, and Vietnamese. It contains a lot of useful information for foreigners about life and administrative procedures.
It is distributed free of charge at the International Exchange Center on the 1st floor of the Kure City Hall, Tobu Chiku Foreign Resident Comprehensive Consultation Counter in Hiro Shimin Center, and every local Civic Center.
