【Kure Port Festival】

The Kure Port Festival, a major spring event in Kure, will be held.
There is a stage, a bazaar with delicious food, and a parade.

●Date and time: April 29 (Monday/national holiday)　10:00am～5:00pm
●Venue: Area around Kuramoto-dori and Renga-dori
※Traffic restrictions will be in place in the Kuramoto-dori area on the day of the event. You cannot park in the City Hall parking lot. Please use public transportation (buses, trains, etc.)

Stage（10:00am～）Unveiling of the 2024 Kure Marine Queen, Japan Maritime Self Defense Force Band Kure’s performance, etc.
Bazaar（10:00am～）Gourmet Corner, Bazaar Corner
Parade（2:00pm～）A parade in which about 2,000 residents participate, including powerful and energetic dances.

An Emergency Healthcare System for initial symptoms, second stage and third stage emergencies has been prepared for times when you have suddenly become ill or injured during the night or on holiday.

Even if you leave a company, you are still required to be covered by health insurance in case of illness or injury. If you are no longer eligible for health insurance, please follow one of the following procedures:
“The Kure Life Guidebook for Foreigners” has been published in English, Chinese, Portuguese, and Vietnamese. It contains a lot of useful information for foreigners about life and administrative procedures.
It is distributed free of charge at the International Exchange Center on the 1st floor of the Kure City Hall, Tobu Chiku Foreign Resident Comprehensive Consultation Counter in Hiro Shimin Center, and every local Civic Center.
