【Kure City Fixed Amount Tax Reduction Supplementary Benefit Payment(Shortfall Benefit Payment)】

●What is the “Fixed Amount Tax Reduction”?
The number of people eligible for tax reduction = number of taxpayers + number of their dependents, which each person receives a tax reduction of 30,000 yen from income tax for 2024 and 10,000 yen from resident tax for fiscal year 2024.

The unapplied tax reduction after tax being reduced to 0 will be paid as a benefit payment.
Envelopes have been sent to those who are likely to be eligible since Wednesday, July 2nd 2025.
※For those who moved to Kure City during 2024, your envelope may arrive a little late as tax information needs to be verified.
If you receive this envelope, please be sure to open it and check the contents.

【Movie Screening Under the Starry Sky「DESPICABLE ME 4」】

Let’s watch the movie at night at the elementary school to make a summer vacation memory.

※Each venue has a capacity limit

●Admission fee
One person 600 yen（free for children under three years old）
※Advance tickets can be purchased at the Kure Children’s NPO Center YYY.
Tickets will be available on the day, but in case of rain, those with advance tickets will be given priority entry to the gymnasium.
※Please bring your picnic blanket etc.

【Recruitment of Participants for the Summer Vacation Homework Support Project for Children/Students with Foreign Roots!】

Volunteers will help you with your summer vacation homework. You can also review your school’s materials and study Japanese. We also have time to play games and work on handicrafts together.

●How to apply
Application forms are distributed to the elementary and junior high schools within the city. If you are interested, please contact the school or apply directly at the International Center (Kure City Hall 1st floor).

Even if you leave a company, you are still required to be covered by health insurance in case of illness or injury. If you are no longer eligible for health insurance, please follow one of the following procedures:
“The Kure Life Guidebook for Foreigners” has been published in English, Chinese, Portuguese, and Vietnamese. It contains a lot of useful information for foreigners about life and administrative procedures.
It is distributed free of charge at the International Exchange Center on the 1st floor of the Kure City Hall, Tobu Chiku Foreign Resident Comprehensive Consultation Counter in Hiro Shimin Center, and every local Civic Center.
